Quantum Solutions is searching for two full-time Electrical Controls Engineers in the St. Louis area to join the team. Electrical Controls Engineers are responsible for designing, programming, developing, and commissioning automated systems in a support engineering role. This includes office development, testing, onsite installation, and technical support of PLC based hardware/software, visualization tools, automation controls, and databases.
This role requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, another applicable engineering/technical degree, or experience. Typical overnight travel ranges from 60-80 nights per year and may amount to 50%. This position reports to a lead engineer to work alongside as a mentor. Applicants with 2-5 years in the field or related experience will be considered for an Electrical Controls Engineer II position. Electrical Controls Engineer I position applicants with experience is a plus but not a requirement.
- Electrical design engineering of automation controls systems
- Programming and testing of PLC and HMI systems using Rockwell, Siemens, Inductive Automation, Wonderware, and others
