Quantum Solutions is searching for a disciplined & experienced Technical Sales Executive in the Greater St. Louis Area to join our team. This person will generate new business through outbound efforts, while also securing growth within an existing portfolio of accounts once established. They will use technical knowledge of the manufacturing industry in conjunction with our portfolio of services to identify opportunities within facilities, work with our Engineering Leaders to create solutions, and then communicate the solution to our manufacturing customers. This role is accountable for meeting & exceeding personal sales targets.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Research & Planning:
    • Identify potential opportunities through individual personalized research
    • Create & execute strategic schedule for solicitation & development of opportunities
  • Cold Calling:
    • Introduce Quantum Solutions and our services
    • Determine if we would be a mutual fit
    • Schedule initial F2F meetings in conjunction with ECE for technical expertise
  • F2F Customer Meetings:
    • Analyze customer’s systems to identify both current & future needs
    • Communicate QSI’s value prop, services, & processes
  • Contact Management (CRM):
    • Creation and maintenance of contacts in CRM
    • Record dates, details, and follow-up for each interaction
  • Administrative:
    • Write proposals with Engineering review
    • Provide detailed & accurate sales forecasting
    • Ongoing communication with existing client list to create future opportunities
  • Ability to travel up to 40% overnight

Competencies:

  • Experience with OEM, Manufacturing, or Technical Sales
